I have gone down the rabbit hole now. There is no rescuing me, either. I have started my first ever fair isle project. I don't know why I have never done it before, I have, after all, done intarsia. At the time I didn't know what I was letting myself in for, I just liked the look of the book I had bought. It was a Kaffe Fassett book, and I had never heard of him before. It was a coat that I knitted.
So, for my first fair isle project I am doing a scarf. I am picking my own colours from my stash. I am hoping I won't have to buy too much yarn for this project, but we will see. I will post pictures as it grows, even if there are mistakes. I own all my mistakes in my knitting, most of the time I am able to fix them, but sometimes it is too late when I see them, so I decide to leave them in. My theory is that they add character. Well, that is my story, and I am sticking to it.
