I'm into crafting, and have way too many UFO'S, and WIP's to list. I thought I'd try this out, to see if it would help me get some of them finished.

So, here is some information on the afghan.
I am using Ashford Tekapo 8 ply wool. I am using 5 mm needles, because I am a tight knitter and with the cables in the pattern, I want a slightly looser fabric.
383 stitches, and the patterns I am using are

I am using two colours. But can't show a picture of the second colour yet, as I have it on order. Will put up pictures when I have both colours.
I have no idea how much yarn it is going to take, that is part of the adventure. 😉
Picture
I said I would post a picture of the afghan. Here it is. I can't spread the stitches out, because my needle isn't long enough.
Long time, no see
But I am here for now. It is 3:56am, here in New Zealand, and the RWC is on. We are watching the Canada/Italy game at the moment. The two I really want to see are South Africa/Samoa, and England/Wales. I feel sorry for the Samoans, what with SA coming off their shock loss to Japan.
Anyway, I have designed an Afghan. It is going to be called New Beginnings. I have no pictures, yet, but will post them as I progress. I have never done this before, so it is an adventure. I am knitting this for my beautiful younger sister, and she got naming rights. She has no idea of the patterns I have picked, and not seen the colour, either.
